The Series VV-D Desiccant Breather Dryer is a disposable moisture control solution designed for hydraulic systems, gears, drums, IBCs, and mobile machinery in indoor, outdoor, and offshore environments. Its durable plastic housing contains GIEBEL Xdry® desiccant and features a 3μm filter for effective air drying and cleaning. The breather ensures constant air exchange, removing water molecules and dirt particles, while an activated carbon layer adsorbs oil mist to protect both the desiccant and the environment. The granulate's optimal 2-5mm grain size guarantees excellent drying efficiency with minimal pressure build-up, achieving a residual humidity of 2% rH and a dew point of -40°C. A two-stage slosh protection system ensures oil contamination is prevented. The VV-D series is designed to be disposable, with no replacement cartridges—once the GIEBEL Xdry® desiccant reaches full saturation and the silica gel grains turn green, the entire absorber is replaced, ensuring reliable, low-maintenance protection against moisture damage.
