These fittings feature a two-piece insert, which includes a ferrule, a metal or plastic component that tightly compresses the hose onto the fitting, ensuring a secure, leak-proof connection. The difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings have separate components—the ferrule and fitting body—which offer more flexibility during installation, easier replacement, and customization.
