The Alfagomma A-MORB Two-Piece Fittings are straight, carbon steel fittings designed to securely connect wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter. These fittings use a two-piece insert, which includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that compresses the hose tightly onto the fitting to ensure a strong, leak-proof seal. The key difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings allow for more flexibility during installation, as the ferrule and fitting body are separate, making it easier to install or replace. In contrast, one-piece fittings are pre-assembled for a quicker installation process. The A-MORB fitting features an SAE male O-ring boss connection, providing a secure and reliable seal for high-pressure fluid systems.
