The Alfagomma A-FSAE Two-Piece Fittings are straight, carbon steel fittings designed to securely connect wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter. These fittings use a two-piece insert, which includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that compresses the hose onto the fitting, creating a tight, leak-proof seal. The difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings are made of separate components (the ferrule and fitting body), offering more flexibility during installation and making replacement easier. In contrast, one-piece fittings are pre-assembled and faster to install.
