The Alfagomma A-FMPS Two-Piece Fittings are straight, carbon steel fittings designed to connect wire-braided hoses, textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter. These fittings use a two-piece insert, which includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that compresses the hose tightly onto the fitting, ensuring a secure, leak-proof seal. The difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings consist of separate components (the ferrule and fitting body), offering more flexibility and ease of installation or replacement, while one-piece fittings are pre-assembled for quicker installation. The A-FMPS fitting features an NPSM (National Pipe Straight Mechanical) female swivel with a 60° seat, providing a durable and reliable connection for high-pressure fluid systems.
