These fittings are made from carbon steel and feature a hose end that connects to a bite-type tube fitting, which works by "biting" into the tube to create a strong, permanent connection. The two-piece design consists of an insert (the fitting) and a ferrule (a metal sleeve that helps secure the hose), offering flexibility and ease of maintenance.
