The miniBOOSTER HC4-A hydraulic intensifier, also called a hydraulic pressure booster, is a compact, high-flow inline unit that converts an existing low-pressure hydraulic supply into higher outlet pressure. The HC4-A is the A-model configuration without an integrated dump valve, so high pressure must be relieved externally, typically through a properly sized pilot-operated check valve. This configuration is especially useful with large-bore hydraulic cylinders that produce high return flow better handled outside the booster. The HC4 family offers 11 intensification ratios from 1.3:1 to 9.8:1, accepts inlet pressures from 20 to 207 bar (290 to 3,000 psi), and produces outlet pressures up to 800 bar (11,600 psi), with intensified flow up to 17.4 L/min (4.6 GPM), depending on the selected ratio. Applications include hydraulic presses, large cylinders, workholding and clamping, machine tools, pressure-testing systems, bolt tensioning and industrial automation requiring higher pressure and greater flow.
