Shop MiniBooster HC6 Hydraulic Intensifiers
The miniBOOSTER HC6 hydraulic intensifier, also called a hydraulic pressure booster, is a compact, high-flow inline unit that uses an existing low-pressure hydraulic supply to generate and maintain higher outlet pressure. Designed for systems requiring a substantial volume of high-pressure oil, the HC6 offers nine intensification ratios from 1.3:1 to 8.2:1, accepts inlet pressures from 20 to 207 bar (290 to 3,000 psi), and produces outlet pressures up to 800 bar (11,600 psi). Depending on the selected ratio, it can deliver intensified flow up to 28.3 L/min (7.5 GPM) with inlet flow capacity up to 80 L/min (21.1 GPM). Available configurations include the HC6-A without a dump valve, HC6-B with an integrated dump valve and HC6-G with direct proportional pressure control. Applications include hydraulic presses, large cylinders, heavy-duty clamping and workholding, pressure testing, bolt tensioning, mobile machinery, construction equipment and industrial automation requiring high pressure with greater flow capacity.
The HC6 provides localized high pressure without requiring a separate high-pressure pump or power unit, helping reduce system size, piping, energy use, noise and equipment cost. It permits high flow during initial actuator movement, automatically intensifies when supply pressure is reached, stops at the target pressure and restarts if pressure falls because of fluid consumption or leakage. Warning: Select the intensification ratio using maximum inlet pressure, return-line backpressure, required outlet pressure and flow demand. Never exceed the HC6’s 800-bar maximum pressure or its model-specific flow limits. All hoses, tubing, fittings, valves, gauges, seals, manifolds and actuators must be rated for the maximum possible intensified pressure. Keep return pressure as low as possible, verify that stored pressure has been safely released before service and have installation performed only by qualified hydraulic personnel.
