Shop MiniBooster HC4 Hydraulic Intensifiers
The miniBOOSTER HC4 hydraulic intensifier, also called a hydraulic pressure booster, is a compact, high-flow inline unit that uses an existing low-pressure hydraulic supply to generate and maintain higher outlet pressure. Designed for applications requiring a greater volume of high-pressure fluid than smaller boosters can provide, the HC4 is available in 11 intensification ratios from 1.3:1 to 9.8:1. It accepts inlet pressures from 20 to 207 bar (290 to 3,000 psi), produces outlet pressures up to 800 bar (11,600 psi), and delivers intensified flow up to 17.4 L/min (4.6 GPM), depending on the selected ratio. Available configurations include the HC4-A without a dump valve, HC4-B with an integrated dump valve and HC4-G with direct proportional pressure control. Applications include hydraulic clamping and workholding, presses, large cylinders, machine tools, pressure testing, bolt tensioning, industrial automation and other equipment requiring higher pressure with greater flow capacity.
The HC4 provides localized high pressure without requiring a separate high-pressure pump or power unit, helping reduce system size, plumbing, energy use, noise and equipment cost. It allows free flow to the high-pressure side during initial movement, automatically intensifies after supply pressure is reached, stops when the target pressure is achieved and restarts if pressure falls because of fluid consumption or leakage. Warning: Select the intensification ratio using maximum inlet pressure, return-line backpressure, required outlet pressure and flow demand. Never exceed the HC4’s 800-bar maximum pressure or any model-specific flow limit. All hoses, tubing, fittings, valves, gauges, seals, manifolds and actuators must be rated for the maximum possible intensified pressure. Keep return pressure as low as possible, verify that stored pressure has been safely released before service and have installation performed only by qualified hydraulic personnel.
