Shop MiniBooster HC3 Hydraulic Intensifiers

The miniBOOSTER HC3 hydraulic intensifier, also called a hydraulic pressure booster, is a compact unit designed for installation in an NG6 (D03) stacking manifold system. Based on the HC2 design, the HC3 uses an existing low-pressure hydraulic supply to generate and maintain higher pressure at port A without requiring a separate high-pressure power unit. It is available in 15 intensification ratios from 1.2:1 to 25:1, accepts inlet pressures from 20 to 207 bar (290 to 3,000 psi), and produces outlet pressure up to 500 bar (7,250 psi), depending on the selected ratio and operating conditions. Available configurations include the HC3-A without a dump valve, HC3-B with an integrated dump valve and HC3-G with direct proportional pressure control. Typical applications include hydraulic workholding and clamping, machine tools, support cylinders, presses, pressure-testing equipment and industrial automation systems using NG6/D03 modular valves.

The HC3 provides localized high pressure within a compact valve stack, reducing external piping, system footprint and the need for a dedicated high-pressure pump. It allows the primary hydraulic circuit to operate at lower pressure, automatically stops intensifying when the target pressure is reached and restarts if pressure falls because of fluid consumption or leakage. Warning: Select the intensification ratio using the maximum available inlet pressure, return-line backpressure, required outlet pressure and flow demand. Never exceed the HC3’s 500-bar maximum outlet pressure or the rating of the NG6 manifold, connecting plates, valves, seals, actuators or other downstream components. Keep return pressure as low as possible because backpressure reduces effective outlet pressure. Installation and service must be performed by qualified hydraulic personnel with the system shut down, isolated and completely depressurized.
