Shop MiniBooster HC2 Hydraulic Intensifiers

The miniBOOSTER HC2 hydraulic intensifier, also called a hydraulic pressure booster, is a compact inline device that uses an existing low-pressure hydraulic supply to generate and maintain higher outlet pressure. Available in 15 intensification ratios from 1.2:1 to 25:1, the HC2 accepts inlet pressures from 20 to 207 bar (290 to 3,000 psi) and can produce outlet pressures up to 800 bar (11,600 psi), depending on the selected configuration and ratio. The booster automatically stops when the required pressure is reached and restarts if pressure drops due to fluid consumption or leakage. HC2 hydraulic intensifiers are commonly used in hydraulic workholding and clamping, machine tools, presses, pressure-testing equipment, bolt tensioning, torque tools, industrial automation and compact machinery that requires localized high pressure. Available versions include the HC2-A without a dump valve, HC2-B with an integrated dump valve and HC2-G with proportional pressure control.

Installing an HC2 pressure intensifier can eliminate the need for a separate high-pressure pump or power unit, reducing system size, plumbing, energy consumption, noise and overall equipment cost while allowing most of the hydraulic circuit to remain at lower pressure. Warning: Hydraulic intensifiers can generate extremely high and potentially dangerous pressure. Select the intensification ratio according to the maximum available inlet pressure, return-line backpressure, required outlet pressure and flow demand. Never exceed the HC2’s model-specific pressure or flow limits, and verify that every downstream hose, tube, fitting, valve, gauge, seal, manifold and actuator is compatible with the hydraulic fluid and rated for the maximum possible outlet pressure. Installation and service must be performed by qualified hydraulic personnel with the system shut down, isolated and completely depressurized. Review the manufacturer’s documentation or contact OneHydraulics to confirm proper model selection before ordering or operation.
