The miniBOOSTER HC2-B hydraulic intensifier, also called a hydraulic pressure booster, is a compact inline unit that uses an existing low-pressure hydraulic supply to generate and maintain higher outlet pressure. The HC2-B is the B-model configuration with an integrated dump valve, allowing pressure on the high-pressure side to be released through the booster. When return port R is pressurized and inlet port IN is open to tank, pilot pressure opens the dump valve (DV) so fluid from high-pressure port H can return to tank. Available HC2 intensification ratios range from 1.2:1 to 25:1, with inlet pressures from 20 to 207 bar (290 to 3,000 psi) and maximum outlet pressure up to 800 bar (11,600 psi), depending on the selected ratio. Common applications include hydraulic workholding and clamping, machine tools, presses, pressure-testing equipment, bolt tensioning, torque tools and industrial automation requiring controlled pressure buildup and release.
