ZF1-32 : Alfagomma Steel Interlock Skive Ferrules, 2 (-32)

The Alfagomma ZF1 Interlock Skive Ferrules are straight, carbon steel fittings designed specifically for the Z Series of two-piece fittings, used with the Alfatech 6000 (AT6K) hose in 2" size only. Ferrules are metal sleeves that provide a strong, secure connection between the hose and the fitting, preventing leaks and ensuring reliable performance. The term "skiving" refers to the process of removing the outer layer of the hose to expose the wire reinforcement, allowing the ferrule to grip the hose tightly. These ferrules require both internal and external skiving, which ensures a robust and secure seal. The difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings consist of separate components—one for the hose and one for the fitting—allowing easier maintenance and part replacement, while one-piece fittings are solid and cannot be separated. The ZF1 Interlock Skive Ferrules, when paired with the appropriate two-piece insert, provide optimal performance for demanding applications, especially with large-size hoses like the AT6K.
