The Alfagomma Z-C624 Two-Piece Fittings are 45-degree, carbon steel hose end fittings designed to connect to an O-ring flange (SAE J518 Code 62). These fittings are part of the Z Series, specifically crafted for use with Alfatech 6000 (AT6K) hoses in the 2" size. As two-piece fittings, they consist of two separate components that interlock together, offering flexibility for maintenance and reusability. Ferrules are small metal rings that secure the hose to the fitting, providing a tight seal to prevent leaks. The difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings are removable and allow for easier service, while one-piece fittings are permanently fixed. The Z-C624 fittings require both internal and external skiving, which is the process of preparing the hose to fit the fitting securely. They also need a ZF1 Interlock ferrule for proper installation, ensuring a strong, leak-free connection for high-pressure applications.
