Description
The BSP Male to Type M Male OneXtreme Adapters are high-pressure conversion fittings engineered to connect BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe) systems to Type M (Reverse High Pressure) connections in demanding hydraulic and fluid power applications. BSP fittings are commonly used across Europe and feature straight (parallel) threads that require a sealing method such as an O-ring, dowty seal, gasket, or metal-to-metal cone; BSPP connections specifically utilize a precision cone seal and may include an external cone, with pressure ratings up to 30,000 psi (2068 bar). On the opposite end, Type M fittings are designed for use with Type M swivel hose end fittings and seal via a 58-degree cone, offering ultra-high-pressure capability up to 50,000 psi (3447 bar).
Manufactured from cold worked 316 stainless steel for exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and durability, these OneXtreme adapters are ideal for critical applications such as offshore, chemical processing, and high-pressure test systems. Both BSPP and Type M configurations are available in special materials upon request to meet specific environmental or performance requirements.
NOTE: Proper thread identification and sealing method selection are critical. Mismatched threads or incorrect cone angles can result in leakage or catastrophic failure; always verify pressure ratings, compatibility with mating components, and installation practices before use.
