Description
The BSP Male x BSP Male OneXtreme Adapters are high-pressure British Standard Pipe (BSP) fittings designed to connect two BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe) male-threaded components in demanding hydraulic and fluid power systems. BSP fittings are widely used across Europe and feature straight (parallel) threads that require a sealing method such as an O-ring, dowty seal, gasket, or metal-to-metal cone to create a leak-tight connection. These BSPP adapters utilize a precision-machined cone seal design, sometimes with an external cone, to ensure reliable performance in high-pressure applications up to 30,000 psi (2068 bar).
Manufactured from cold worked 316 stainless steel for superior strength, corrosion resistance, and durability, OneXtreme BSP adapters are built for critical environments including offshore, chemical, and industrial systems. Standard stocked sizes include 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”, and 1”, with additional materials available upon request for specialized applications.
NOTE: Proper sealing method selection and installation are critical to prevent leaks or system failure; always verify compatibility with mating components and pressure ratings before use. Not recommended for use with incompatible thread types or damaged sealing surfaces.
