Description
The Alfagomma TR14C Series R14 Convoluted PTFE Stainless Steel Braid High-Temperature Hose is designed for a wide range of applications requiring resistance to high pressure and temperatures, such as in compressed air, gas, steam, fuel, oil, and various chemicals. It's particularly effective in industries like injection molding, pharmaceuticals, food processing, automotive, and marine applications. The hose features a seamless helical convoluted PTFE tube, offering exceptional mechanical strength, vibration resistance, and chemical inertness. It’s also fire-resistant, FDA food-grade compliant, and resistant to ozone and weather conditions. The hose is reinforced with a high-tensile stainless steel braid (AISI 304) for added durability. With a service temperature range of -76°F (-60°C) to +500°F (+260°C), this hose ensures reliable performance in demanding environments, including steam piping, cryogenic gas charging, and hydraulic lines in power steering systems. However, it is not suitable for molten alkali metals and halogens at high temperatures.
