Description
Super Swivels Male Face Seal (MFS/MORFS) x Male Face Seal (MFS/MORFS) inline hydraulic swivels provide a compact, straight-through rotating connection between two female O-ring face seal hose ends or fittings. Their one-piece barrel-and-stem construction and integrated ball-bearing race minimize rotational friction while withstanding heavy side loads, helping prevent hose twisting, kinking, premature seal wear, leaks, and system downtime. Unlike a standard hydraulic adapter—which creates a fixed connection between ports, sizes, or thread styles—a live hydraulic swivel is designed to accommodate repeated hose movement during operation. The direct-to-hose design can also eliminate additional adapters, reducing connection points, installation space, and overall hydraulic system cost.
Male Face Seal x Male Face Seal inline swivels are available in multiple sizes with zinc or nickel plating, several seal options, and model-specific maximum working pressures from 4,000 to 5,000 PSIG. Always confirm the selected part number’s connection size, pressure rating, seal material, fluid compatibility, and operating temperature. Do not exceed the rated pressure, and fully depressurize the system before installation or service. A flexible connector is required at one end; Super Swivels are not recommended for breathing air, oxygen, or steam service. The installer is responsible for determining California Proposition 65 compliance.
