Description
Super Swivels Female Face Seal (FFS/FORFS) x Male Face Seal (MFS/MORFS) inline hydraulic swivels provide a compact, straight-through rotating connection for O-ring face seal hose lines. The one-piece barrel-and-stem construction with an integrated ball-bearing race minimizes rotational friction and withstands heavy side loads, helping reduce hose twisting, kinking, premature seal wear, leaks, and downtime. Unlike a hydraulic adapter, which creates a fixed connection between ports or thread styles, a live swivel permits repeated hose movement during operation. Its direct-to-hose design also eliminates unnecessary adapters, reducing connection points, installation space, and overall system cost.
Available in multiple sizes with model-specific maximum working pressures from 4,000 to 5,000 PSIG. Always confirm the selected part number’s thread size, pressure rating, plating, seal material, fluid compatibility, and operating temperature before installation. Do not exceed the rated pressure, and fully depressurize the system before installing or servicing the swivel. A flexible connector is required at one end; Super Swivels are not recommended for breathing air, oxygen, or steam service. The installer is responsible for determining California Proposition 65 compliance.
