Description
The Series ME-RV Desiccant Breather Dryer is a rechargeable, refillable moisture control solution designed for use in ATEX Zone II 2 G / D IIC T4 environments, ideal for hydraulic power packs, gearboxes, storage tanks, and mobile machinery in the chemical industry or exposed to salt air. This durable dryer features a stainless steel housing with check valves, ensuring effective protection against moisture damage in indoor, outdoor, and offshore applications. Inside, a GIEBEL Xdry® desiccant bed and a 3μm filter provide optimal air drying and cleaning. An activated carbon layer captures oil mist during air discharge, safeguarding both the desiccant and the environment from contamination. When the adsorber becomes saturated, the inner components are easily replaceable at low cost. Available with FKM or EPDM seals, the ME-RV is a cost-effective, high-performance solution that meets the stringent requirements of ATEX product directive 2014/34/EU.
