Description
The Superlok Series IHRN Straight Male NPT x Male NPT Instrumentation Hex Reducing Nipple hydraulic adapters, made from high-quality stainless steel, are designed to provide secure, leak-proof connections for fluid and gas transfer in hydraulic systems. These adapters feature male NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads, which use a metal-to-metal sealing design that relies on thread deformation to form a strong seal when tightened. The nominal pipe size can be determined by measuring the thread diameter and subtracting 1/4". NPT connections are ideal for single assembly applications, but are not recommended for frequent disassembly due to potential wear on the threads.
