Description

The miniBOOSTER HC4 Hydraulic Intensifier is a compact, high-flow pressure booster designed for hydraulic applications requiring a greater volume of high-pressure oil. This inline hydraulic intensifier accepts inlet pressures from 20 to 207 bar (290 to 3,000 psi) and can generate outlet pressures up to 800 bar (11,600 psi). Eleven available intensification ratios from 1.3:1 to 9.8:1 provide intensified outlet flows up to 17.4 L/min (4.6 GPM), depending on the selected ratio, with maximum inlet flow up to 40 L/min (10.6 GPM). The HC4 automatically stalls when the target pressure is reached and restarts to compensate for oil consumption or leakage. Available configurations include the HC4-A without a dump valve, HC4-B with an integrated dump valve, and HC4-G with proportional pressure control. Typical applications include hydraulic clamping, workholding, presses, machine tools, industrial automation, testing systems, and equipment requiring localized high pressure with higher flow capacity.

Warning: Hydraulic intensifiers can generate extremely high and potentially dangerous pressure. Select the intensification ratio based on the maximum available inlet pressure, return-line backpressure, required outlet pressure, and flow demand. Never exceed the HC4’s 800-bar maximum outlet pressure or the rated pressure of any hose, fitting, valve, gauge, seal, actuator, or other downstream component. Keep return pressure as low as possible because backpressure reduces effective outlet pressure. Installation and service must be performed by qualified hydraulic personnel with the system shut down, isolated, and completely depressurized. Confirm hydraulic-fluid compatibility, port configuration, tightening torque, flow capacity, model version, and G-model control requirements using the manufacturer’s documentation before ordering or operation.
