The Alfagomma One-Piece AlfaCrimp D-MAPI Fitting is a straight, carbon steel fitting designed to connect wire-braided hoses and 4-wire spiral hoses to an API (American Petroleum Institute) male connection. This fitting uses a non-skive crimp design, meaning there’s no need to remove or prep any part of the hose before installation, making the process faster and more efficient. A crimp fitting works by tightly compressing the hose onto the fitting, ensuring a strong, leak-proof seal. Braided hoses are flexible hydraulic hoses reinforced with multiple layers of steel wire, offering high strength and resistance to pressure. The fitting is suitable for wire-braided hoses with an inside diameter (ID) greater than 1" and for specific Alfabiotech 3000 and 4000 hoses, ensuring a reliable and durable connection in high-pressure fluid power systems, especially in the oil and gas industry.
