Description
The HAWE CRV-2A Relief Valve is a ventable, pilot-operated balanced poppet hydraulic cartridge relief valve engineered to provide precise pressure control, dependable overpressure protection, and improved cavitation resistance in demanding hydraulic systems. Designed for mobile and industrial fluid power applications, the CRV-2A series features a balanced poppet main stage with integral T-8A or 08W-2 control cavity compatibility, delivering stable pilot-operated performance with extremely low leakage and excellent dirt tolerance. Featuring a compact T-2A cavity design, operating pressures up to 350 bar (5,076 psi), and flow capacities up to 120 L/min, these hydraulic relief valves are ideal for hydraulic manifolds, mobile machinery, industrial equipment, hydraulic power units, and cross-port relief circuits requiring reliable pressure management under varying load conditions. The balanced poppet design helps reduce cavitation, hydraulic noise, and manifold erosion in applications with high pressure drops, making the CRV-2A series especially well suited for demanding high-performance hydraulic circuits. The valve is available with multiple minimum control pressure spring options and supports both T-8A and 08W-2 pilot cavity configurations for flexible system integration. Designed with fast typical response times of approximately 10 ms, maximum leakage of approximately 0.7 cm³/min, and the ability to accept maximum pressure at port 2, the CRV-2A valve series delivers efficient and stable hydraulic system operation in harsh operating environments. Warning: Improper valve selection, pressure adjustment, installation, or hydraulic system integration may result in uncontrolled pressure conditions, cavitation damage, hydraulic system failure, equipment damage, serious injury, or death. When used in cross-port relief applications, spool leakage and pressure drop effects should be considered during system design. Always verify system compatibility, follow manufacturer installation torque specifications, ensure proper vent and pressure settings, and adhere to all hydraulic safety procedures before operation.
