The HAWE CRV-23A Relief Valve is a ventable, pilot-operated balanced piston hydraulic cartridge relief valve engineered for high-flow hydraulic systems requiring stable pressure control, remote venting capability, and dependable overpressure protection. Designed for demanding mobile and industrial fluid power applications, the CRV-23A series features a balanced piston main stage with an external drain and integral 8A control cavity, delivering efficient and precise pressure regulation in large-capacity hydraulic circuits requiring advanced pilot-operated relief functionality. Featuring a robust T-23A cavity design, operating pressures up to 350 bar (5,076 psi), and flow capacities up to 240 L/min, these hydraulic relief valves are ideal for hydraulic power units, mobile equipment, industrial machinery, marine hydraulics, heavy-duty hydraulic manifolds, and cross-port relief applications requiring reliable unloading and remote venting control. The HAWE CRV-23A series is available with multiple minimum control pressure spring options for both low-pressure and higher pressure-drop applications and is compatible with T-8A cavity pilot controls including CRPA-8A-2D-74 and CPRB-8A-2D configurations. Designed with fast typical response times of approximately 10 ms, low leakage characteristics, and balanced piston construction for stable operation under high-flow conditions, the CRV-23A valve series helps improve hydraulic efficiency, pressure stability, and overall system reliability in demanding fluid power applications. The valve is also designed to accept maximum pressure at port 2 for cross-port relief applications when properly configured.
