Description

The HAWE CRP-16A Relief Valve is a pilot-operated, balanced piston hydraulic cartridge relief valve engineered for high-flow hydraulic systems requiring stable, reliable, and efficient pressure control. Designed for demanding mobile and industrial fluid power applications, the CRP-16A series provides dependable overpressure protection while helping reduce pressure instability and improve overall hydraulic system performance in high-capacity circuits. Featuring a balanced piston relief main stage with an integral 8A control cavity, the CRP-16A valve delivers operating pressures up to 350 bar (5,076 psi) and exceptionally high flow capacities up to 380 L/min, making it ideal for large hydraulic power units, industrial machinery, mobile equipment, marine hydraulics, and heavy-duty cross-port relief applications.

The compact T-16A cavity design allows flexible integration into hydraulic manifolds and custom fluid power systems requiring pilot-operated relief performance with stable pressure characteristics and high flow handling capability. The HAWE CRP-16A series is available with multiple spring configurations for varying minimum control pressure requirements and is designed to accept maximum pressure at port 2 for cross-port relief applications.

Warning: Improper valve selection, pressure adjustment, installation, or hydraulic system integration may result in uncontrolled pressure conditions, hydraulic system failure, equipment damage, serious injury, or death. When used in cross-port relief circuits, spool leakage should be considered during system design. Always verify system compatibility, follow manufacturer installation torque specifications, ensure proper pilot and pressure settings, and adhere to all hydraulic safety procedures before operation.
