Description
The HAWE CRP-162A Relief Valve is a pilot-operated balanced piston hydraulic cartridge relief valve engineered to provide precise pressure control, dependable overpressure protection, and stable performance in compact hydraulic systems. Designed for demanding mobile and industrial fluid power applications, the CRP-162A series delivers smooth and efficient pressure regulation while minimizing pressure override characteristics across varying flow conditions.
Featuring a compact T-162A cavity design, operating pressures up to 350 bar (5,076 psi), and flow capacities up to 45 L/min, these hydraulic relief valves are ideal for hydraulic manifolds, mobile equipment, industrial machinery, hydraulic power units, and custom fluid power circuits requiring reliable pressure limiting and pilot-operated relief functionality. The HAWE CRP-162A series is available in multiple pressure adjustment ranges from 5 bar up to 420 bar and offers several adjustment configurations including leakproof hex socket screws, handknobs with lock knobs, and optional stainless steel tamper-resistant covers for secure pressure tuning and enhanced protection in harsh operating environments. Designed with balanced piston construction, typical response times of approximately 10 ms, and compatibility with cross-port relief applications, the CRP-162A valve series helps improve hydraulic efficiency, pressure stability, and overall system reliability in demanding fluid power applications.
Warning: Improper valve selection, pressure adjustment, installation, or hydraulic system integration may result in uncontrolled pressure conditions, hydraulic system failure, equipment damage, serious injury, or death. The adjustment screw should not be adjusted more than six turns or beyond the maximum adjustment torque specified by the manufacturer, as internal component damage may occur. When used in cross-port relief circuits, spool leakage should be considered during system design. Always verify system compatibility, follow manufacturer installation torque specifications, ensure pressure settings are properly configured for the intended application, and adhere to all hydraulic safety procedures before operation.
