Description
The Alfagomma A-FBPO Two-Piece Fittings are straight, carbon steel connectors designed to link hoses to BSP (British Standard Pipe) O-ring female swivel 60° cone connections. These fittings consist of two parts: the hose end and a separate O-ring female swivel, which ensures a tight, leak-free connection. The use of ferrules—small, cylindrical metal rings—helps securely attach the hose to the fitting, preventing leaks and maintaining pressure within the system. The difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings allow for easier maintenance and replacement of individual components, while one-piece fittings are integrated into a single unit, offering a more rigid connection.
