The Alfagomma A-MOFS Two-Piece Fittings are straight, carbon steel fittings designed to securely connect wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter. These fittings feature a two-piece insert, which includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that compresses the hose tightly onto the fitting to create a strong, leak-proof seal. The main difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings consist of separate components—the ferrule and the fitting body—offering flexibility in installation and easier replacement. One-piece fittings, in contrast, are pre-assembled for faster installation but offer less flexibility. The A-MOFS fitting features an ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) male connection, providing a reliable, durable connection for high-pressure fluid systems. Ideal for use with Alfabiotech 3000 (1 ¼" and 1 ½") and Alfabiotech 4000 (³⁄₈" to 1 ¼") hoses, as well as smaller ID spiral wire reinforced hoses, this fitting ensures long-lasting, secure hose connections in demanding industrial applications.
