Description
The Alfagomma A-FNPR Two-Piece Fittings are straight, carbon steel fittings designed to connect wire-braided hoses, textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter. These fittings use a two-piece insert, which includes a ferrule, a metal or plastic component that tightly compresses the hose onto the fitting to create a secure, leak-proof seal. The key difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings are made of separate parts (the ferrule and the fitting body), offering more flexibility for installation, adjustments, and replacements, while one-piece fittings are pre-assembled for quicker installation. The A-FNPR fitting features a rigid NPTF (National Pipe Tapered Fuel) female connection, ensuring a durable and reliable connection for high-pressure fluid systems. It is ideal for use with Alfabiotech 3000 (1 ¼" and 1 ½") and Alfabiotech 4000 (³⁄₈" to 1 ¼") hoses, as well as smaller ID spiral wire reinforced hoses, offering long-lasting and secure connections in demanding industrial environments.
