The Alfagomma A-FOFS Two-Piece Fittings are straight, carbon steel fittings designed to connect wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter. These fittings feature a two-piece insert, which includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that compresses the hose onto the fitting to ensure a secure, leak-proof seal. The key difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings consist of separate components—the ferrule and the fitting body—providing flexibility for installation and easier replacement. One-piece fittings, in contrast, are pre-assembled, which makes installation faster but offers less flexibility. The A-FOFS fitting has an ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) female connection with a double hex design, making it ideal for high-pressure fluid systems. This fitting is perfect for use with Alfabiotech 3000 (1 ¼" and 1 ½") and Alfabiotech 4000 (³⁄₈" to 1 ¼") hoses, as well as smaller ID spiral wire reinforced hoses, offering reliable, long-lasting hose connections for demanding industrial applications.
