Description
The Alfagomma A-MBPT Two-Piece Fittings are straight, carbon steel hose fittings designed to connect hoses to BSPT (British Standard Pipe Tapered) or JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) male tapered threads. These fittings are used with a variety of hoses, including wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and spiral wire reinforced hoses with sizes ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" ID. A two-piece fitting consists of two parts: a hose end and a ferrule, which is a metal sleeve that helps secure the hose to the fitting, preventing leaks and ensuring a strong, tight connection.
