The Alfagomma A-FJ9S Two-Piece Fittings are 90-degree, carbon steel fittings designed for use with wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter. These fittings feature a two-piece insert, which includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that compresses the hose securely onto the fitting, ensuring a tight, leak-proof seal. The main difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings are made of separate components—the ferrule and fitting body—offering more flexibility during installation and replacement, while one-piece fittings are pre-assembled for quicker use. The A-FJ9S fitting features a 90° JIC female swivel with a 37° seat and a short drop design, providing a strong, reliable connection for high-pressure fluid systems.
