Description
The Alfagomma A-C61S Two-Piece Fittings are straight, carbon steel hose fittings designed to securely connect hoses to equipment with an O-ring flange, meeting SAE J518 Code 61 standards. These fittings feature a two-piece design, which includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic ring that compresses the hose against the fitting, creating a tight, leak-proof seal. The main difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings have separate components (the ferrule and fitting body), offering more flexibility for installation and easier replacement, while one-piece fittings are pre-assembled for faster installation but offer less flexibility. The A-C61S fitting is ideal for use with wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter, including Alfabiotech 3000 (1 ¼" and 1 ½") and Alfabiotech 4000 (³⁄₈" to 1 ¼") hoses.
