The Alfagomma A-C614 Two-Piece Fittings are 45-degree, carbon steel hose fittings designed with an O-ring flange that meets SAE J518 Code 61 standards, providing secure connections for hoses in high-pressure systems. These fittings use a two-piece design, which includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that compresses the hose against the fitting, ensuring a tight, leak-proof seal. The key difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings are made of separate parts (the ferrule and fitting body), offering flexibility for maintenance and easier installation, while one-piece fittings are pre-assembled and ready to use but offer less flexibility. The A-C614 fitting is compatible with wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses in sizes ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter, including Alfabiotech 3000 (1 ¼" and 1 ½") and Alfabiotech 4000 (³⁄₈" to 1 ¼") hoses.
