The Alfagomma A-FO9S Two-Piece Fittings are 90-degree, carbon steel fittings designed to connect wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter. These fittings feature a two-piece insert, which includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that compresses the hose onto the fitting, ensuring a tight, leak-proof seal. The difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings consist of separate components—the ferrule and the fitting body—providing flexibility for installation and replacement, whereas one-piece fittings are pre-assembled for quicker installation but with less flexibility. The A-FO9S fitting features a 90° ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) female swivel connection with a short drop design, making it ideal for high-pressure fluid systems. These fittings are perfect for use with Alfabiotech 3000 (1 ¼" and 1 ½") and Alfabiotech 4000 (³⁄₈" to 1 ¼") hoses, as well as smaller ID spiral wire reinforced hoses, offering a secure, reliable, and long-lasting hose connection for demanding industrial applications.
