Alfagomma A-MOBS Two-Piece Fittings are durable, high-performance fittings designed to connect hoses to SAE Male O-Ring Boss (ORB) ports with a swivel, typically made of carbon steel for added strength. These fittings are specifically engineered for wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, and PTFE hoses, in sizes ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" and including Alfabiotech hoses from ³⁄₈" to 1 ½". The "two-piece" design consists of an insert and a ferrule that work together to securely clamp the hose, preventing leaks and ensuring a solid connection. Ferrules are metal rings that tightly hold the hose onto the fitting, ensuring a leak-free seal under pressure. The main difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings allow for easier customization and more flexibility in assembly, while one-piece fittings are pre-assembled for quicker installation.
