Description
The Alfagomma A-FBO9 Two-Piece Fittings are 90-degree carbon steel hose fittings designed to connect hoses to BSP (British Standard Pipe) O-ring female swivel fittings with a 60° cone. These fittings are a two-piece design, meaning they consist of two separate components that provide greater flexibility in maintenance and easier part replacement. Ferrules, small rings made of metal or another durable material, are used to secure the hose to the fitting, ensuring a leak-free connection. The key difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings allow for individual parts (such as the hose end or connector) to be replaced, while one-piece fittings are a single unit. The A-FBO9 fittings are designed for a variety of hoses, including wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and spiral wire reinforced hoses with sizes ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2".
