The Alfagomma A-FO9L Two-Piece Fittings are 90-degree, carbon steel hose fittings designed for use with wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter. These fittings feature a two-piece insert that includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that tightly compresses the hose onto the fitting, creating a secure, leak-proof seal. The key difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings consist of separate components—the ferrule and the fitting body—allowing for more flexibility in installation and replacement, while one-piece fittings are pre-assembled for quicker installation but offer less flexibility. The A-FO9L fitting has a 90° ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) female swivel connection with a long drop, ideal for high-pressure fluid systems where extra clearance is needed. These fittings are compatible with Alfabiotech 3000 (1 ¼" and 1 ½") and Alfabiotech 4000 (³⁄₈" to 1 ¼") hoses, as well as smaller ID spiral wire reinforced hoses, providing a reliable and durable connection for demanding industrial applications.
