Description
The Alfagomma A-MNPT Two-Piece Fittings are straight, carbon steel fittings designed to connect wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses with sizes ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter. These fittings feature a two-piece insert, which includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that tightly compresses the hose onto the fitting, ensuring a secure, leak-proof seal. The main difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings allow for more flexibility during installation, as the ferrule and fitting body are separate, whereas one-piece fittings are pre-assembled and ready to use. The A-MNPT fittings, with a male NPTF 60° seat, are ideal for high-pressure applications, providing a durable, reliable connection for Alfabiotech 3000 (1 ¼" and 1 ½") and Alfabiotech 4000 (³⁄₈" to 1 ¼") hoses, as well as smaller ID spiral wire reinforced hoses. These fittings are essential for fluid power systems requiring long-lasting and secure hose connections.
