Description
Super Swivels 90-Degree Standard Pressure Female Pipe (NPTF) x Male Face Seal (MFS) hydraulic swivels provide free rotation on one axis while creating a compact right-angle change in the fluid path. The male O-ring face seal connection provides a reliable, leak-resistant seal for high-pressure hydraulic systems, while the full-flow swivel design reduces hose-line complexity and bend radius. This allows hoses and piping to move more freely while helping prevent twisting, kinking, shock damage, and premature hose failure. A heavy-duty ball-bearing race withstands side loads to minimize seal wear and leakage, and the NPTF-to-MFS configuration connects directly to compatible hydraulic lines without additional adapters. Available configurations include 1/4" through 1-1/2" NPTF ports with face seal sizes from -6 through -24 and maximum working pressures from 4,000 to 5,000 PSI, depending on the part number.
Warning: Select the correct swivel size, seal material, and pressure rating for the system fluid, temperature, operating pressure, and application. Never exceed the maximum pressure specified for the individual part number. Depressurize the hydraulic system before installation, inspection, or service; escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin and cause serious injury. Apply compatible hydraulic thread sealant only to the NPTF connection. Do not apply pipe-thread sealant to the male face seal connection; verify that its sealing face and O-ring are clean, undamaged, properly seated, and compatible with the fluid. Inspect the swivel regularly and replace it if damaged, excessively worn, or leaking.
