Description
Super Swivels 90-Degree Standard Pressure Male Pipe (NPTF) x Female Pipe (NPTF) hydraulic swivels provide free rotation on one axis while creating a compact right-angle change in the fluid path. The male-to-female pipe configuration connects directly to compatible hydraulic lines and ports, eliminating the need for a separate elbow and swivel adapter. Its full-flow design reduces hose-line complexity and bend radius, allowing hoses and piping to move more freely while helping prevent twisting, kinking, shock damage, and premature hose failure. A heavy-duty ball-bearing race withstands side loads to minimize internal seal wear and leakage. Available in matching and reducing configurations from 1/8" through 2" NPTF, these 90-degree hydraulic swivel fittings have maximum working pressures from 3,000 to 5,000 PSI, depending on size.
Warning: Select the correct swivel size and seal material for the system fluid, temperature, operating pressure, and application. Never exceed the maximum pressure specified for the individual part number. Depressurize the hydraulic system before installation, inspection, or service; escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin and cause serious injury. Apply a compatible hydraulic thread sealant to both NPTF connections, keeping excess sealant away from the fluid passage. Avoid overtightening tapered pipe threads, inspect the swivel regularly, and replace it if damaged, excessively worn, or leaking.
