Description
Super Swivels 90-Degree Standard Pressure Male JIC Bulkhead x Female O-Ring Boss (ORB) hydraulic swivels provide free rotation on one axis while creating a compact right-angle change in the fluid path. The male JIC bulkhead connection uses a 37-degree flare and allows the swivel to be securely mounted through a panel or bracket, while the female SAE O-ring boss connection provides reliable, leak-resistant sealing for high-pressure hydraulic service. The full-flow design reduces hose-line complexity and bend radius, allowing hoses to move freely while helping prevent twisting, kinking, shock damage, and premature hose failure. A heavy-duty ball-bearing race withstands side loads to minimize internal seal wear and leakage. Available in sizes from -6 through -20, including a -10 JIC bulkhead x -8 female ORB configuration, these hydraulic bulkhead swivels have maximum working pressures from 4,000 to 5,000 PSI, depending on size.
Warning: Select the correct swivel size and seal material for the system fluid, temperature, operating pressure, and application. Never exceed the maximum pressure specified for the individual part number. Depressurize the hydraulic system before installation, inspection, or service; escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin and cause serious injury. Secure the bulkhead connection to a properly sized, adequately supported panel or bracket. Do not apply pipe-thread sealant or sealing tape to either connection. Keep the JIC flare clean and undamaged, and verify that the ORB sealing surfaces and O-ring are clean, properly seated, undamaged, and compatible with the hydraulic fluid. Avoid overtightening and replace any swivel that is worn, damaged, or leaking.
