Description
Super Swivels Female Face Seal (FFS/FORFS) x Male Face Seal (MFS/MORFS) 90-degree standard-pressure hydraulic swivels provide a compact, right-angle rotating connection between compatible O-ring face seal hose ends and fittings. The live swivel rotates freely on one axis, allowing the hose to follow equipment movement while reducing bend radius, line congestion, twisting, and kinking. Its integrated ball-bearing race withstands heavy side loads to help prevent premature seal wear and leaks while maintaining an efficient flow path. By combining a 90-degree direction change and rotating joint in one component, this swivel can replace a fixed elbow and additional adapters, reducing connection points, installation space, maintenance, and overall hydraulic system cost.
Female Face Seal x Male Face Seal 90-degree swivels are available in multiple sizes with zinc or nickel plating, several seal options, and model-specific maximum working pressures from 4,000 to 5,000 PSIG. Always confirm the selected part number’s face-seal sizes, pressure rating, swing clearance, seal material, fluid compatibility, and operating temperature. Do not exceed the rated pressure, and fully depressurize the system before installation or service. A flexible connector is required at one end; Super Swivels are not recommended for breathing air, oxygen, or steam service. The installer is responsible for determining California Proposition 65 compliance.
