Description
The Series 9225 45-Degree Angled Male JIS x Male BSPT adapters, made from durable carbon steel, are designed to provide secure, leak-free connections in fluid systems. These adapters feature a male JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) connection with a 30° inverted seat on one side, which is commonly used in Japanese fluid systems and similar in function to SAE 37° flare connections. The other side of the adapter has a male BSPT (British Standard Pipe Tapered) connection, which uses tapered threads to form a tight seal with BSPT female ports. BSPT connections are compatible with both BSPT and BSPP female ports and are known for their ability to withstand high-pressure applications. These adapters are ideal for systems requiring flexible, reliable connections and are often used in industrial applications. Thread sealant is recommended to ensure a secure fit, and the thread sizes are expressed using fractional dimensions, with “R” indicating a tapered thread.
