Our Series 7204 90-Degree Male JIC x Female BSPP Swivel adapters, made from durable carbon steel, are designed to provide reliable, leak-free connections in hydraulic systems. These adapters feature a 90-degree angle, ideal for routing hoses and pipes in tight or confined spaces. On one side, the male JIC (Joint Industry Council) connection uses a 37-degree flare seating surface for a secure mechanical seal, while the female BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) connection features a flareless swivel with a tapered nose that creates a seal on the cone seat of the male connector. This design ensures a strong, leak-tight connection suitable for high-pressure fluid systems. BSPP is distinct from NPT and NPSM connections, offering parallel threads with "G" designations, and it's important to use appropriate sealant for a tight, dependable seal.
