Description
Series 6464-L-O Straight Long Male ORB x Male ORB hydraulic adapters, made from carbon steel, offer a longer L dimension compared to the standard 6464-O series, providing greater flexibility in certain hydraulic system applications. These ORB (SAE Straight Thread O-ring Boss) fittings feature a male connection with a straight UNF thread and an O-ring that ensures a leak-tight seal when compressed into the chamfer of the mating female port. The female port has a straight thread with a precision-machined surface for accurate alignment and a smooth seal. Designed for medium to high-pressure hydraulic systems, these adapters are commonly made from carbon, nickel-plated carbon, or stainless steel, and use Buna-N or Viton 90 Durometer O-rings. Endorsed by the NFPA, they are ideal for preventing leaks and ensuring safe, reliable performance in fluid power systems.
