Description
The Series 6402-O-SS Straight Male ORB x Female JIC Swivel hydraulic adapters, made of high-quality stainless steel, combine ORB (O-ring Boss) and JIC (Joint Industry Council) fittings to provide leak-free, durable connections for medium to high-pressure hydraulic systems. ORB fittings feature a straight UNF thread with a reliable O-ring, ensuring a leak-tight seal when compressed against a machined chamfer in the female port. This connection is ideal for applications requiring leak prevention, as recommended by the NFPA. On the other hand, JIC fittings, with a 37-degree flare seating surface and parallel threads, offer secure mechanical connections by mating the male flared fitting with the female coned seat.
