Description
The Series 6058 45-Degree Angled Male ORFS x Male Adjustable BSPP adapters, made from durable carbon steel, are designed to provide secure, leak-free connections in fluid power systems. These adapters feature SAE J1453 (ORFS) O-ring Face Seal connections, which are highly effective for leak prevention. The male ORFS connector has a straight thread with an O-ring in the face, while the female BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) side has a straight thread and a machined flat face. The seal is created by compressing the O-ring onto the flat face of the female, similar to a split flange fitting. BSPP connections use metal-to-metal sealing surfaces, with the male connector creating a captive seal on the female's tapered nose flareless swivel. These adapters are ideal for high-pressure applications, offering both flexibility and strong sealing performance in various fluid power systems.
