The Series 5058 45-Degree Angled Male Light Duty DIN x Male Adjustable BSPP adapters are designed to provide secure and reliable connections in fluid systems, combining DIN and BSPP fitting styles. The DIN connection features a 24° tapered throat angle inside the male threads, where a tube nut tightens over the metric threads to compress a ferrule or cutting ring, securing the tube and creating a seal. This sealing method is often used in Kobelco fittings and is ideal for light-duty applications. The BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) male connection, comparable to NPSM, uses metal-to-metal sealing or a combination of metal and O-ring, providing a captive seal when mated with the female fitting. The swivel BSPP design features a tapered nose flareless swivel that seals on the male connector’s cone seat.
